Which job boards does it search?
The free search on this page covers public job-board feeds: Himalayas, Jobicy, Arbeitnow, RemoteOK, We Work Remotely, The Muse, Landing.jobs, Hacker News and Remotive. With an account, the agent also reads company career pages hosted on applicant-tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, and searches the wider web.
Is JobBites free?
Yes. Does it submit job applications for me?
No. The Chrome extension reads an application form and fills it from your profile — contact details mapped directly, free-text answers drafted from your CV and that specific posting — but it never clicks submit. Anything it cannot ground in your own data, including consent checkboxes, is left empty for you.
How does it know which jobs actually fit me?
You upload your CV and set what you are looking for — role, location, salary floor, working arrangement. Every result is then scored on how well it fits that profile rather than on keyword overlap, so the list is ranked by fit and you can see why each role scored the way it did.
What does watching a company do?
You add a company, a role and a check frequency, and JobBites reads that company's own careers page on your schedule. The first check quietly records what is already open; after that you get an email and an in-app notification only when a genuinely new matching role is posted — usually before it reaches the aggregators.
Does it remove duplicate job postings?
Yes. A role cross-posted to four different sites is merged into a single entry on your board, and postings that have expired or been taken down are filtered out before they reach you.
Do I have to install the Chrome extension?
